Exams...to be tested or to be bested?
Tomorrow is my Chemistry Practical and hopeful I do not flunk it like the past two practicals. Exams, what are their purpose? To separate us from the elites or to really test our knowledge? But why test our knowledge in a single exam? I know of many who are indeed intelligent yet do not get a distinction for the exams. maybe it is because exams are too artificial, there is no real life process in it. Truly the way English is tested is flawed. The test should be on our writing skills and our maturity. Why do lame title like "Wealth is health. Do u agree?" exist, it is so artificial? Would such a scenario occur in real life? Hence what are they testing for? I believe that exams are nothing more than to separate us from the elites. The smart ones would shift to a higher class, to the upper rungs of society whereby riches are theirs. The rich could easily bribe their way through. Surely people say the Ministries would safeguard such illegal practice. But is it not true that these same rich and powerful people are in charge of these ministries. Laws are made to safeguard their interests not ours. The exams are merely to bring new blood to the upper rungs where incest have taken place for too long. The new blood mainly consisting of the brightest would infuse more power to their class. If u do not agree with me over these elitist theory, look around you, is there no such thing as an gifted program, in government to student meetings, which students are chosen? It is the brightest hailing from the top schools. Elitism is similiar to meritocracy actual it is a component of meritocracy. It divides the people bringing wars and discontent. Exams should be nothing more than a testing grounds for young minds not a definite answer to their futures( to be exploited). My next post will be about why meritocracy and classism is evil. Remember nothing is what it seems to be. Exploited you have been for too long with ur minds warped by some insidious enemy whom I shall reveal in the coming posts.
Addo Verum
